Come tomorrow, may I be bolder than today?”

[They were teenagers –– really.  But they saw an injustice and sought to right it — including the guy in the middle, my pop, who enlisted in the Navy at 16 (with a note from his mom) — but he was among the lucky who returned, others, were not as fortunate.  
On this day, we salute those who gave the supreme sacrifice in defense of our country and way of life.  Perhaps now more than ever, we must keep their efforts in our hearts and minds to insure that their efforts were not in vain in confronting threats from without . . . and from within.]
