Today a story:
In 2011, we were driving back on a two lane road from a wedding in Washington State.  Lulu drove most of that trip and I was looking out the passenger window.  Suddenly, Lulu said, “we need to go back,” found a turnout, pulled over, and headed back the way we came. When I asked why, she responded with a very impish, “you’ll see.”
Around a corner we came upon a run-down house — with a very interesting sign in front.  It was the childhood home of one of my all-time heroes, Edward R. Murrow.  Neither of us knew it was there, but when she caught it out of the corner of her eye she knew what it would mean to me.
That’s my sweet valentine!
